Pediatric and Adolescent Health
Elite Medicine is committed to providing outstanding, evidence-based primary care for pediatric patients of all ages and complexity. It is important to note that we do not currently stock childhood immunizations, so our recommended pediatric patient ages are children older than 5 years of age. If you would like to enroll a child under the age of 5, please reach out to a member of our team.
Membership includes routine checkups and well-child visits, sports and camp physicals, nutrition, exercise, and wellness counseling, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, management of medications including new prescriptions and refills, and coordination of care with specialists for complex medical conditions. Elite Medicine welcomes complex pediatric patients, including those with intellectual or physical disabilities, and those requiring periodic hospitalization or sub-specialty care.

Thriving is defined by each individual. Your physician will work with you to optimize and maintain cognition, athletic performance, and longevity. We will work together to prevent cancer, heart disease, dementia, and other conditions while we make sure every day of your life is as healthy as it can be!

High-End Concierge Care
In-home visits: As appropriate and able, Elite Medicine will come to your home, office, or other location to complete the medical consultation. In addition to convenient and time-saving, house calls are an excellent way to get to know patients and their settings. House calls are particularly useful for patients with mobility issues.
Telemedicine consultations: Telemedicine is an outstanding option for patient-centered care. Convenient and efficient, telemedicine is underutilized in traditional practices who need in-person visits to bill insurance to make money. Because Elite Medicine does not bill insurance, telemedicine can replace in-person visits, thereby prioritizing your time and health. No more disruptions in your busy schedule just to refill stable prescriptions, adjust medications, or discuss mental health concerns. Not all visits are appropriate for telemedicine consultation, of course, and your doctor will make that decision with you. Telemedicine visits are conducted through a secure communication platform within the electronic medical record and do not require downloading a third-party app.
Technology Incorporation: Elite Medicine is committed to using patient-centered technology to ease communication and medical care. In addition to the electronic medical record patient portal and telemedicine, this may look like uploading home blood pressure and blood sugar readings for fast and precise adjustment of medications, setting and tracking fitness goals using the Apple watch, using smartphone apps to improve compliance with medication or nutrition plans, analyzing data from sleep peripheral monitors, and much more.
Travel medicine: Elite Medicine membership is designed with clients who travel frequently in mind. Services include pre-travel consultations and preparation. While traveling, rest assured that Elite Medicine will be available to provide guidance and telemedicine consultation as needed and within reasonable limitations.
Executive Health Screenings: Many concierge medicine practices promise “annual executive screenings” that include multiple panels of blood testing, as well as full body scanning and genetic testing. These screenings are paid for out-of-pocket by patients and are a source of revenue for other concierge practices. Elite Medicine, being committed to evidence-based practice, will happily discuss testing options with you, including their potential benefits, risks and harms. However, our promise to each of our members is to always inform you as to the current scientific evidence behind medical decision-making, prioritizing your health and well-being over unnecessary testing or treatment. And we will never receive compensation for tests or imaging ordered for our patients.
Cutting-edge Treatments: Concierge medicine members are often interested in exploring newer diagnosis and treatment options for common conditions. Interested in micro-dosing, personalized medicine, alternative medications? While Elite Medicine does not claim expertise in these areas, fewer clients means that we will take time to explore the available data on these treatments and provide guidance as able. Do not expect Elite Medicine to prescribe alternative and complementary treatments as common practice, particularly as there is often not enough evidence to support their use, but we are happy to support each patient’s exploration of these options in as safe a manner as possible.
Hospitalization consultation: Hospitalizations can be scary and confusing, and primary care providers who know you best are often not included once a patient is hospitalized. Members can expect their Elite Medicine provider to be available during hospitalizations to help navigate and advocate for the best and most appropriate hospital-based care, both with the patient and their hospital providers. We will also work to facilitate a smooth transition upon hospital discharge.
Adoption paperwork assistance: Elite Medicine will assist patients in understanding and navigating the medical component of adoption paperwork and discuss common medical conditions and adjustments frequently seen with adopted children.
Advanced Care Planning: Elite Medicine will facilitate and assist conversations regarding goals of care and patient wishes at the end of life.
Concierge Care Coordinator: staff will assist in scheduling specialty appointments for you, obtaining medical records as needed, troubleshooting with pharmacies, and much more.
